We are currently expanding our staff team. Applicants need to be willing to work alongside our clients and be an example of the Christian lifestyle to them.

CRB checks will be a necessity. All positions are available as live-in community posts, but if you live locally and can travel in part-time or full-time, that can also be negotiated.

Positions Needed - Salary/Terms Negotiable :

  • Senior Support Workers (houseparents) to live in the new houses with up to 8 clients and 2 single support workers on extended family basis - helping them with their problems and giving spiritual and practical counsel in a parental role. Community car provided.
  • Catering Supervisor to manage the catering team at least 3 days a week, or full time. This would be cooking 2 meals a day for up to 35 people on a daily basis. Applicants need to be willing to work alongside our clients and be an example of the Christian lifestyle to them.
  • Male & Female single support workers to live in the new buildings with up to 8 clients and senior support workers.
  • General Workers to assist the other staff with daily duties such as running errands (driving license required).
  • Dairy Sales Person.
  • Gardener / Landscaping person. To create and upkeep the general grounds around the main site.
  • Administrators & Marketing & PR personnel.
  • Building Trades & General maintenance person, for building, renovation, etc. Work on a major accommodation development involves the construction of three large identical houses. This will enable Gilead to significantly increase the number of students it can accommodate, and replace the mobile homes which are currently used to accommodate the overflow of people.
Also Needed on an ongoing basis:
  • A manager/facilitator for the GF Addiction Counselling Training School (ACTS).
  • A part time Doctor – with the relevant experience
  • General Labourers. We have many different departments functioning on a daily basis, as well as visions for future developments. Whatever your skills and abilities, you'd be a valuable member of the GF community.
